Huge thank you. We had just left to go away for a week and engine light came on. We popped in hoping that on the off chance they may be able to use diagnostics to let us know if there was a fault and if we could continue on our journey. Despite being busy, they lovely guys said to bring my car round. Quick diagnostic check, part ordered. I was back there in an hour for it to be fitted. It turned out it was a loose connection causing the engine light. How honest, they could have charged me loads for a job that didn't need doing. They will be getting much more business from me. They were a pleasure to deal with, friendly and knowledgeable and really easy to deal with.

Very professional and friendly, I was advised by my friend on Saturday to go into Woking to find somewhere to re-gas my AC. Consistently met with ‘can't do today but ring on Monday; probably be Thursday'.
After an hour and half of driving around being turned away, I gave up and went home. On my way home I passed iGarage and thought I'd give them a try.
Very friendly person welcomed me and said we can sort this here and now. He completed the job and away I went very happy, paying a very reasonable price. I hadn't given them a chance before but I will be using them now for all further car maintenance.

Bought a Fiat 500 from the garage which had a faulty clutch, went back and immediately had a mechanic assigned to fix the problem. Went back as the repair, which I agreed seemed the correct solution didnt work and the faulty parts were replaced with no questions asked. Adrian said he wanted to take the car first a long drive himself to check the oroblem had been resolved. Great service and would have no issues buying a car from them again. Thanks.

I had the BMW dealer service center quote me an eye-watering price to replace a timing chain, and other related seals, gaskets, covers,etc. It's a component that is designed to last the life of the engine, so the repair is a substantial amount of labor in disassembly and reassembly.
Faced with paying a major portion of the car's value to get it fixed, I decided to get another estimate, and called Ians's garage. Theresa spent a good deal of time with me on the phone explaining the scope and extent of the repair, and provided an estimate that was ~33% less than what BMW had quoted. When I picked up my car, Ian brought me into the immaculate shop where he had the damaged/worn components laid out and spent a good deal of time explaining what he'd found and the work he had done, root causes of the failure, and future preventive measures. He is personable, and generous with his time in explaining details. He is impressively knowledgeable and conveys the kind of friendly, calm competence only found in true professionals. He's certainly earned my trust.
I have no ill will toward the dealer; they have always treated me fairly. But I'll be bringing my cars back to Ian and Theresa.

They fitted new brake pads, fixed the handbrake, as well as some other minor things, so the car passed the MOT just hours later. Really efficient service, and a great price too. On the electrical side, I had to install a sat nav instead of the old radio, and the mechanic who took care of it solved the problem quickly, informed me all the time about certain aspects, after which he helped me with the installation of the system (for example, I also had the controls on the steering wheel and this one helped me to adjust them). during the entire operation, thanks to the bad boss, I stayed in the heat, even if it was -4 degrees Celsius outside,Adrian offered me a room to stay.
but above all, the affordable price makes me come back to Igarage every time.

We were on our way to the Grand Canyon when the intake boot for the turbo charger blew apart on my M235i. We limped into Santa Fe after reading the reviews for Ian's Garage on a Sunday evening. We were at Ian's Garage before 8:00 a.m. Monday morning hoping he could help. He came out to greet us almost immediately, assessed the situation, and told us that as soon as his wife was available he would have her search for the part. But he couldn't guarantee that she could find the part in today's environment. Before lunch, Teresa called to tell us she had found the part and could have it overnighted for no additional charge. She called around 11:30 the next day to tell us that the part had arrived and if we could bring it in right away they could get it put on. By 1:00, the car was fixed, despite the fact that he was booked two and one half weeks out! So, now we can make our reservations at the Grand Canyon tomorrow! They are truly wonderful people, going out of their way to help make our vacation plans work out!

Let me begin by saying you will not find a mechanic as skilled, patient, or as competent as Ian Clemmer. I spend my summers in Santa Fe and Ian has cared for all of my vehicles as if they were his own. Always sound advice, always precise, and most importantly, always a gentlemen. He serviced all of my BMW's over the years-2000 M Coupe, 2000 540i, 2012 X5M, and most importantly my baby-1988 e28 M5. Ian is so skilled and so excellent at his work. He can diagnose a problem very quickly and work towards a solution immediately. HIs demeanor is like no other mechanic. Extremely sensitive and a with a maturity far beyond his years. If you own a BMW and live even close to Santa Fe, you owe it to yourself to have Ian service it. He is moving to a much larger location, which only means he will be able to service ALL of the BMW cars in Santa Fe.

so my girlfriend and I were in Santa Fe on vacation when we ran into a problem with our BMW. We found Ian on the internet and drove over to his shop he spent probably 45 minutes looking at our car and helped us understand that it was still under warranty and arranged for the car to be brought to the dealer He also told the dealer to expect us and we got VIP treatment from them and we also got VIP treatment from Ian and his wife Theresa. They just took care of us and turned what was potentially a pretty stressful situation into something that was a unique customer experience.
Besides being very nice people Ian and Teresa know what they're doing Ian has a serious background in Volvo's and BMWs and it seems to me that the local dealer uses his expertise on a regular basis when they have problems that are a little beyond their abilities.
Bottom line is you go to a mechanic sometimes wondering if they're going to take advantage of you. It is the opposite with Ian and Theresa. With them you have people who will be your advocate and will take care of you and your car with a combination of professionalism and friendliness that is how to find anywhere.

After my 2013 328i left me stranded in the middle of a busy intersection in Los Alamos, I knew from previous experiences exactly where I was having my BMW towed to -- Ian's Garage in Santa Fe!
Ian is a ROCK-STAR when it comes to working on BMWs.
He quickly diagnosed the faulty In-Tank Fuel Pump, sent an estimate, and upon my approval, special ordered the part and had me back on the road in days. My 2002 330ci has broken down twice in Santa Fe. The first time, in September 2016, it was a fuel pump. Ian got the work done right, and was friendly and easy to deal with. About 3 p.m. yesterday - a Friday - my serpentine and drive belts shredded, and it was obvious where I'd go. I figured I'd take the train back to Albuquerque and arrange for pick-up sometime next week. Nope. Ian went right to work, not just replacing the belts, but checking all the components they go to. He diagnosed a possible alternator issue, but nothing that would keep me from getting home (which I did). He didn't just tell me what he was doing; he showed me, just as friendly and honest as before. I can't promise he'll get you in on zero notice, last thing on a Friday, and fix your car while you wait, but I'm certain you'll get good work from a great guy, and if your experience is like mine, you'll leave wishing you could have paid more. Car repairs don't get better than that.

I had Ian look over my E46 M3 and even though I didn't need anything major, it was the fact that he recommended for me to wait until my next inspection. He could've ran up a hefty maintenance bill and instead saved me a lot of money. Today's mechanics are quick to raise the bill and make some money. NOT IAN. He looked over my checklist but he went above and beyond to make sure everything on my M3 was running to perfection. Topped off fluids, adjust and replace small items that I didn't even ask him to do. Price was very reasonable and more than anything I feel relieved that I have found a mechanic that will take the extra time to satisfy the customer.
He has gained a customer in myself but anyone else that has a BMW I highly recommend IAN'S GARAGE.
